Bryan Lecoche Ltd. provides enforcement and investigative services to high profile national and international companies, alongside many private and public sector clients. We are a hands-on, family run business with experience and industry knowledge that is second to none.
We started in business in 2012, prior to which Bryan was for many years the Managing Director of Constant & Company, which Bryan built into a very successful business. Bryan’s early employment years were as a Bedfordshire Police CID and Drug Squad Officer - and those connections live on to this day with many in our team being retired Police Officers. Their experience, training and competence gives us a noteworthy point of difference over our competitors and an intuitive grasp of the instincts and skills our clients require.
In April 2018 and at a time when we were rapidly expanding, Bryan’s son Richard Lecoche joined as co-owner and Commercial Director. Richard has previously managed other successful businesses, both family-owned and in larger corporate environments. Richards focus is to make the business fit for the future; recruiting key personnel, updating our processes, alongside managing the day to day operations.
One reason that we are the ‘go to firm’ for many clients is because in 1999 Bryan re-discovered the Common Law procedure for evicting trespasser / travellers. Until then the use of this procedure had fallen into disuse in favour of statutory legislation. Since 1999 Bryan has managed over 16,000 Common Law evictions of trespassers on behalf of hundreds of clients. Where Bryan led, most now follow resulting in huge competition for this area of work and proving that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Bryan has guided and advised many companies and organisations on the use of Common Law procedure and is regarded as an authority.
On behalf of Basildon Council, Bryan was fully involved with numerous partner agencies in the lengthy and detailed planning of the Direct-Action site clearance at the highly publicised Dale Farm Traveller Site in 2011. Bryan successfully led the enforcement team on what was perhaps the most complex and challenging eviction staged in England & Wales over the last decade, and one which prompted intense media interest.
We have a wide range of clients who continue to entrust their work to us. We have fostered numerous good working relationships over many years and are repeatedly informed by clients that they have absolute confidence in us. Our sincere objective is to deliver a cost effective, reliable, expedient and professional service that meets, manages and exceeds our client’s expectations.
Bryan Lecoche is a member of CIVEA (Civil Enforcement Association) and the ABI (Association of British Investigators), both of which are the recognised leaders in setting industry standards. Bryan is authorised to execute High Court Writs of Possession and can facilitate the execution of other High Court matters with the support of High Court Enforcement Group.
We have full Professional Indemnity, Employers and Public Liability Insurances. We are also GDPR compliant and possesses industry recognised Health and Safety accreditations (CHAS / SSIP). Our multiple work-related Policies and Procedures cover all areas of work in which we are involved.
